Michelle

Meet Michelle Robinson

Michelle is the founder and framer behind Ray Street Custom Framing. She’s been framing photographs, paintings, and other mediums for over 15 years. Originally from Atlanta Georgia she’s lived in San Diego for over 18 years.

Michelle has been a student and lover of art since her Crayola days. She received a B.S. in art education from the University of Georgia in 1999. She was drawn to many aspects of the artistic process: color and design theory, the quirks of different media, and the art of communicating a distinct vision.

As she began to frame more of her own pieces, she realized how important presentation and conservation are to both the artist and the collector. She became fascinated with custom framing as a means to elevate the art that inspires us. She looks forward to learning what inspires YOU.

Dave

Meet Dave Dann

Dave is a master woodworker, luthier and musician who lives with his family here in San Diego. He has 30 plus years of custom framing and woodworking experience. From design to execution he helps bring projects to completion with his expertise, insight and craft. It definitely takes a team, and Ray Street Custom Framing wouldn’t be possible without this artisan.

“The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a cheap price is forgotten.”
